UPSSSC Recruitment 2024, Apply Online for the 3446 Agriculture Technical Assistant Vacancies

Candidates aiming to apply for the position of Agriculture Technical Assistant must hold a degree in B.Sc. (Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry/Hons) or B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering). This educational requirement ensures that applicants have a foundational knowledge and the necessary qualifications to perform effectively in the role

The age criteria for applicants are set with a minimum age limit of 21 years and a maximum age limit of 40 years as of July 1, 2024. Age relaxation applies according to the rules set forth by the UPSSSC, accommodating a diverse group of candidates.

UP Agriculture Technical Assistant Selection Process

The candidates will be selected based on their marks in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2023 and their performance in the written test organised by the recruitment authority.

The written examination will be conducted offline at various examination centres across the state. It will contain a total of 100 questions and the weightage of each question will be 01 mark. Candidates will get 02 hours to solve the question paper and there will be three parts in the test.

The registration fee for all candidates, irrespective of category, is set at ₹25, which covers the online processing fee. There is no application fee, making the process more accessible. Payment can be made through various modes, including Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or SBI branches.
